There are many reasons why I decided to record this Workbook: one of the main ones is that I wanted to make the Genius method available to as many people as possible. What really motivates me are not only the results themselves. The results you can achieve mean something only compared to your own standard. What really moves me and drives me is to think about all people who have learned (and will learn) how to do something that they previously thought impossible. Because, when this happens, the look in their eyes changes and it is clear that a new perspective has opened up for them.
Giulia Remondino, the Author of the workbook
The Genius PRIME Workbook is a necessary guide to enhance your results; by completing it, you will feel ready to face your challenges successfully.
You will be able to: improve your efficiency, process information better and learn new skills faster. You will be surprised by discovering that your potential is close to unlimited!
Time and motivation are the two factors that determine whether or not you will even sit down to start working to achieve your learning goals. Underestimating them means planning for failure. Here we will start tackling them with a couple of practical exercises. In Genius by Choice, you will be able to read more about them both!
There is one situation in which sticking to your plan won’t lead you anywhere. This is when the plan is wrong. What do I mean by wrong? I see plans full of things to do, but missing something very important: actions geared towards your evolution and your actual dreams
Do you ever find yourself in situations where you think “Ok, this is really not my thing” or “I’m terrible at this”? These are moments in which you, sadly, have to face a lack of talent in a specific field. How do you react to it? Do you simply give up or do you pull up your sleeves and balance your lack of talent with an abundance of acquired knowledge and practice? Your beliefs regarding your ability to learn, improve and evolve are fundamental to increase your learning performance and structure your personalised method.
Strategic Reading is a reading method that will not only let you read in half the time, but also enhance your understanding. The exercises that I have selected here are extremely helpful to achieve fast, concrete results by developing the abilities of your eyes and your perception skills. These are fundamentals, and as such they alone are not enough. We could compare them to learning how to raise the ball in volleyball: it may not be enough to win a game, but if you cannot do it, you are definitely not going to win. And the sooner you start, the more skilled you will become!
Another good exercise to do is to train your eyes to perceive information faster. If we don’t train this ability, the risk is that while our eyes will be able to go faster, our brain won’t be trained to retain the information
Teams: a resource or a time-expensive tool? They can be both! When we work in a team, there are times in which it is hard not to get annoyed. There may be some things that your colleagues just don’t seem to process the same way you do... because they don’t! But a team is supposed to synergise and improve your collective performances... So what would it be like if you had the necessary knowledge to put your team to the best use possible?!
One of the abilities you need in order to process information effectively is to select what you need and what you don’t, based on your goal and the time you have at your disposal.
Learning a language is a great goal. It can give you a reason to ask for a raise, the means to take on more responsibilities and ask for a promotion. It allows you to be liked by foreign partners that notice the effort you’ve put in. And so on. So, why haven’t you learnt 10 languages by now? There can be many reasons why that happens, but let’s be straight: if you are properly motivated to learn something, you won’t give up easily.
Do you base your decisions on the external context or on your internal one? Every decision you make is based on a series of endogenous and exogenous elements. If you manage to understand the way you make your decisions, you will be able to act with awareness of both your internal and your external context, leading to better decision-making.
One ability to develop when expressing our ideas is to explain concepts to any kind of audience. This will make your delivery more engaging and appropriate to the people you have in front of you, leading to better results.
What will you learn thanks to the Discipline mini-course, and why is it a bonus for this bundle?
Training hundreds of people through our programme, we have realised that once you remove the learning blocks that you have and enhance your learning power, there is one more obstacle that may rise between you and your results: your (lack of) discipline.
In this mini-course, recorded live during two sessions of our Soft Skills Academy, you will learn more about the three factors that affect your discipline.
Identifying these reasons will be your first step immediately after learning effective strategies to feel more in control of your motivation.
What will you learn thanks to the Prominent style Test?
Discover YOUR single, most prominent cognitive style.
All of us learn in a unique way that has been developed over years and years due to preferences, circumstances and references.
After studying all the currently available theories on learning and observing hundreds of clients, we have identified the 8 styles that affect your learning the most.
By understanding your most prominent one, you will be able to look at yourself through a new lens. You will discover the strengths of your main style and how to use them to your advantage when learning and working. You will also uncover tips to navigate the dangers that come with your style (there always are some!).
It is a wonderful starting point from which to get to know yourself better. With this knowledge, selecting the right strategy for yourself will become so much easier.
Hi, I am Giulia S. Remondino and I am an Italian expat in London.
I am the founder of Genius in 21 Days UK, after training as an Instructor in Italy.
There are many reasons why I decided to write this workbook: one of the main ones is that I wanted to make the Genius method available to as many people as possible.
I cannot promise that reading a book will give you the same results that you would have by taking Genius in 21 Days (I am pretty sure it will not), but what I want for you is to start having a peek at your potential.
Apply everything you can, and you will see your learning improve at a pace that you thought impossible before.
Simply by using the tools I will share with you in this workbook, I managed to acquire fluency in two new languages and I am now running my business on three continents.
Why not give it a try?
